Budapest attracts tourists to its wide range
of cultural and sporting events. Festivals
include the Film Festival which is held
each February and the two week long Spring
Festival which is held each March.
Getting There: Tourists can enter Hungary by road, though only
local people are allowed to use some of the border
crossings. The international airport in Budapest
is called Ferihegy and there are budget airlines
offering relatively cheap flights to the capital.
There are good rail links between cities in Hungary
and the rest of Europe.
